Your Consent to this Privacy Policy

By using or accessing any of our Websites, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy, including any changes from any previous versions of the Privacy Policy included in the current version of this Privacy Policy you are now reading. Your use of our Websites is also subject to the Terms of Service listed on that Website (or, in the case of the Blink Mobile application, any End User License Agreement for the application).

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If we make any material changes to our practices for collecting, generating, storing, using, or sharing your Information, we will update this Privacy Policy to reflect those changes. We will post the updated Privacy Policy reflecting those changes on our Websites and in other places we deem appropriate. We will also seek your consent to the updated Privacy Policy to the extent we deem that those changes affect our use of any sensitive information we collect or generate from you or any Information we have collected or generated from you prior to the changes. We encourage you to refer back to this Privacy Policy on an ongoing basis so that you understand our current privacy practices.

Children Under the Age of 13

Blink strives to protect the online privacy of children. No part of our Website is targeted to attract anyone under 13. We will not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from or about anyone under the age of 13 without prior parental consent. We also do not send email correspondence to anyone who tells us that they are under the age of 13 without prior parental consent. We rely on parents to supervise the use of our Websites by their children. If a child under 13 has provided the Website with Information, please email Blink at, and we will delete the Information about the child from our files.

What Information Does Blink Collect and Generate From You

We may ask you to provide various Information that is associated with or linkable to your name (“Personally Identifiable Information”). The Personally Identifiable Information we ask you to provide to us may include, by way of example, your name, mailing address, telephone number, mobile telephone number, driver’s license number, birth date, email address, interests, and product or service preferences. If you use a credit or debit card or pay by check for any of our services or products, we may also collect your account number. Blink does not collect Personally Identifiable Information through the Websites unless you voluntarily provide us with that Information. Please understand, however, that if you choose not to provide us with certain Personally Identifiable Information, you may not be able to access all of the features of our Websites.

We may ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information at various times and places on the Websites. By way of example:
Requests Made to Blink. You may be presented with the opportunity to participate in various promotional or marketing programs through the Websites. If you choose to request information from Blink or participate in one of these programs, we may ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information.

Purchases Through the Websites. You may be presented with the opportunity to purchase various services or products from Blink or one of Blink’s partners through the Websites. We may also ask you to provide Personally Identifiable Information when you choose to make a purchase through a Website.

Studies and Pilot Programs. You may be presented with the opportunity to participate in various studies or pilot programs through the Websites. We may also collect and generate Information from you based on your participation a study or pilot program. If you elect to participate in a study or pilot program run by Blink, your participation may also be subject to a separate participation agreement. Please review your participation agreement to see what additional Information Blink may collect and generate as part of the study or pilot program.

Location-Based Services. The Websites may offer location-based search services to help you identify charger stations within our network. If you use these services, Blink may collect and generate additional Information from you. This Information may include your geographic location and the other Information you specify in connection with your search, as well as the charger stations you locate using through your search. The geographic location Information may reveal your exact current location to Blink (if, for example, you send Blink your GPS coordinates or other precise location information). Blink may share your location with third parties as part of these location-based services. For example, Blink may share your location with a third party to create a map or provide directions to nearby charger stations within our network.

Use of Charger Stations. If you use any charger station within our network, whether following a location-based search on our Websites or otherwise, we may collect and generate Information from you regarding your use of the charger station. This Information will include, for example, the charger stations you use, the amount and type of services you obtain from each charger station, and other Information regarding your use of our services. We may associate this Information with your account with Blink or with other Information you have provided to us. We may use this Information, for example, for use of billing you for your use of the services you obtain from each charger station.
Blink Applications. Blink may store certain Information, including Personally Identifiable Information, on your mobile device running the Blink Mobile application. Please consult the documentation for your mobile device and/or the website of the manufacturer of your mobile device to determine how to manage the Information stored on your mobile device.

Cookies and Automatic Website Tracking. The Websites may automatically track certain Information through the use of “cookies,” and other automatic means of tracking your use of our Websites. A “cookie” is a small computer file stored by your web browser on your computer or mobile device. The cookie allows a web server to recognize your computer or mobile device when you visit our Websites and collect Information regarding your usage of our Websites, including the portions of our Websites you click on during your visit. The cookie itself does not contain or collect any Personally Identifiable Information, but we may associate the cookie with your account with Blink or with other Personally Identifiable Information you have provided to us. We use Information obtained through cookies and other electronic means of tracking your use of our Websites primarily to improve and update the Websites, for customer service, to offer special promotions, and to collect site-traffic data. We may also automatically collect certain Information from you, or generate certain information based on the Personally Identifiable Information you provide to us, that is not associated with or linkable to your name (“Non-Personally Identifiable Information”). The Non-Personally Identifiable Information we collect and generate may include, by way of example, information regarding your use of our Websites and the services we provide through the Websites, as well as the performance of our Websites and services we provide through the Websites during your use. We will own all Non-Personally Identifiable Data we collect or generate and we may store, use, and share that Non-Personally Identifiable Data for any lawful purpose, provided that we maintain the Information only in the form of Non-Personally Identifiable Information and do not attempt to associate or link that Information to your name.

How Does Blink Use the Information We Collect From You

In addition to the purposes listed elsewhere in this Privacy Policy, we use the Information we collect or generate for various purposes, including:

  • To provide the services or products you request
  • To identify your product and service preferences, so we can notify you of new or additional products, services, and promotions or opportunities that might be of interest to you

We may be required to disclose your Information pursuant to lawful requests by law enforcement and government agencies, such as investigations, warrants, subpoenas or court orders. Additionally, Blink may share your Information when Blink believes it necessary to comply with applicable law, to enforce the terms and conditions applicable to our Websites, or to protect our interests or our rights, property, or safety or the interests, rights, property, or safety of our employees, contractors, affiliates, providers, or customers.

Behavioral Advertisers. We may participate in third party behavioral-based advertising. This means that Blink or a third party may place a cookie on your browser or use other automated means to collect Information about your use of our Website so that Blink or the third party can provide you with advertising about products and services tailored to your interests. That advertising may appear either on our website, or on other websites. If you would like to opt-out of behavioral advertising based on your use of this website, you can do so by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative and/or the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Enhancement of Information

We may combine the Information we collect and generate from you with data and information we obtain from other sources to augment, enhance, and improve the Information we collect or generate from you. If the combined Information remains Personally Identifiable Information (i.e., associated with or linkable to your name) after being combined, then we will continue to treat that Information as Personally Identifiable Information under this Policy. If the combined Information is rendered Non-Personally Identifiable Information (i.e., unable to be associated with or linked to your name) after being combined, then we may treat that information as Non-Personally Identifiable Information under this Policy.

Our Websites may contain links which direct users to websites or mobile applications operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other websites or mobile applications. If you choose to click on one of these links, you will be directed to the website or application operated by a third party. Any Information that you submit at these websites or applications are submitted directly by you to these third parties and will be governed by that third party’s privacy practices and procedures. Blink is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of these third parties.

How Can You Review or Remove Information Blink Collects

You may contact Blink at, or at the address and phone number listed below, if you no longer wish to be contacted by Blink or receive promotional or marketing materials. Additionally, you may opt-out of receiving Blink’s promotional or marketing materials by following the instructions included in each promotional or marketing communication.

If your personally-identifiable Information changes, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate your Information by making the change on Blink’s member information page, by emailing a customer service representative at, or at the address and phone number listed below. Blink will respond to your request within 10 business days.

You can opt out of use of cookies on the Website as described above. You cannot access or change other non-identifying Information that Blink collects in aggregate or an automatic basis as described above.

How Does Blink Protect and Secure Customer Information

Blink has established reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial security procedures to protect the Information we collect and store from you. Our servers are located in a secured area with cameras. We use firewalls to safeguard and protect access to our servers by unauthorized means. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the email addresses submitted to us, both during transmission and after receipt. We use secure servers using Secure Socket Layering (SSL) encryption when we ask you to provide us with sensitive personal Information, such as your credit card number or other financial information. Note though that secure transmission may not be used for the product pages of the Websites, general Website information, or any Information transmitted through an Application.

Despite our efforts to use reasonable and appropriate security, no security system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee that your Information will be secure in all situations or that your Information will not be subject to loss, misuse, unauthorized disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
